Working in a non-profit requires wearing MANY HATS!
It's one of my favorite things about non-profits, right after the good they do for social causes. Working at Artreach has allowed me to learn a whole lot of seemingly random skills - and I love to learn more than just about anything! Non-profits may not be high paying jobs, but the benefits are good for one's whole self - body, mind and soul.
I'm a computer geek!
I've been using Mac computers since 1987, when they were homely beige boxes! I loved the Mac from my first game of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, to learning Quickbooks, and everything in between.

Non-Profit Management
Because
Artreach is both a Mental Health agency and an Arts agency, I've
learned to navigate the waters of very different funders, and I wear many hats.

Creative/Performing Arts
At Artreach, the goal is growth - personal and creative. People stick around for 5, 10, 20 years. We need to raise the bar on occasion, so I'm constantly working on skills.
